Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Washington County, Wisconsin. The job is on an industrial construction site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Your main tasks: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
