Gas commissioning technician — Boone County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Boone County, West Virginia. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. You will run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser. You should have: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders 5+ years on the tools preferred.
