Great opportunity: we are hiring an automobile electrician in Gateshead, England. You will be based at a car service garage. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on auto electrical experience • Own basic hand tools preferred • Valid driving licence preferred The role involves: • Diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner • Repair air-conditioning electrical controls • Replace blown fuses, relays and faulty switches • Programme keys and reset immobilisers • Read wiring diagrams and trace circuits • Test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
