Quality checker wanted in Mahaska County

Now hiring: we are hiring a quality checker in Mahaska County, Iowa. You will be based in an electronics assembly workshop. On a typical shift you will carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
