Great opportunity: we are hiring a fitter on the line in Columbia County, Oregon. You will be based at an automotive parts factory. The role involves: • Snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses • Clean down the workstation and keep it to 5S standard • Fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor • Report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away • Top up the line-side bins and call for parts when stock runs low Ideal candidate: • Minimum 10th pass or ITI is an advantage • Can read work instructions and basic measurements 2+ years on the tools preferred. $8,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
