Now hiring: we are hiring a machinist in Boise County, Idaho. You will work at a busy garment factory. The role involves: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently 6+ years on the tools preferred.
