Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area, Abia State. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
