Vacancy available: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Caribou County, Idaho. The job is in a car refinishing workshop. Requirements: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Day to day you will wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch.
