Steel erection rigger — Wichita County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Wichita County, Texas. You will work at a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 3+ years on the tools preferred.
