Chiller technician • Kings County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a chiller technician in Kings County, New York. You will be based at a food processing plant. Day to day you will measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge. Requirements: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
