Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. The job is at a busy body shop. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand Your main tasks: • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
