Ladle pourer wanted in Steele County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Steele County, Minnesota. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Six days a week, one day off.
