Safety officer • Gagarawa, Jigawa State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Gagarawa, Jigawa State. The job is in a chemical processing unit. The role involves: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites 4+ years on the tools preferred.
