Visual inspection operator • City of Norfolk, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in City of Norfolk, Virginia. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings. You should have: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
