Immediate opening: concrete shuttering carpenter (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Queens County, New York. You will work on a bridge and flyover project. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
