Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Scott County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On the job you will handle: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required 3+ years on the tools preferred.
