Reinforcement fitter • Afijio, Oyo State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Afijio, Oyo State. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day-to-day duties: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. ₦210,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
