Natural gas fitter • Beaufort County, South Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Beaufort County, South Carolina. You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders On a typical shift you will set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
