Foundry operative • Okehi, Kogi State

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Okehi, Kogi State. You will work on the moulding line. The role involves: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
