Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Sheridan County, Wyoming. Day-to-day duties: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience.
