Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Otsego County, Michigan. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Understanding of hand and radio signals Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Rotating shifts.
