Great opportunity: we are hiring a countertop fabricator in Marin County, California. You will work on a residential building site. You will cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels. Requirements: • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
