Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Pickens County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Pickens County, South Carolina. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Driving licence for travel between sites • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
