Stainless steel welder — Anderson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Anderson County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. You will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Full-time with occasional weekends.
