Gtaw welder — Garko

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Garko, Kano State. On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
