Urgent requirement: gtaw welder (Michigan)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Arenac County, Michigan. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off.
