Formwork joiner • Buchanan County, Missouri

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Buchanan County, Missouri. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. You should have: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules The role involves: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
