Great opportunity: falsework carpenter (Alaska)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Haines Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a reinforced concrete building site. Your main tasks: • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters What we are looking for: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing 5+ years on the tools preferred.
