Stainless steel welder — Kukawa

Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Kukawa, Borno State. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around ₦265,000 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
