Immediate opening: we are hiring a press shop operator in Webster Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Day-to-day duties: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
