Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Wayne County, New York. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. Requirements: • Driving licence for travel between sites • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations The role involves: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
