Urgent requirement: garment presser (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment presser in Roberts County, Texas. The job is in a tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics.
