We are recruiting: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in San Luis Obispo County, California. What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant The role involves: • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear Performance bonus on top of base pay.
