Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot On the job you will handle: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Rotating shifts.
