Toolroom milling operator • Henry County, Alabama

Great opportunity: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Henry County, Alabama. You will work at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Full-time with occasional weekends.
