Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in City of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Day-to-day duties: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
