Tailor machinist — Ashland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Ashland County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Part-time with flexible hours.
