The role involves tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
