Tailor machinist • Washington County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Washington County, Texas. The job is at a busy garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
