Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination You will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut.
