Join our team: we are hiring a bench joiner in Suffolk County, New York. You will work on a busy construction site. You should have: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Your main tasks: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions Rotating shifts.
