Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Calaveras County, California. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection You will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer.
