Fire and safety officer wanted in Greene County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Greene County, Ohio. The job is at a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
