Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Russell County, Virginia. You will work at a shipyard. Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage On a typical shift you will tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform.
