Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Garrett County, Maryland. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
