We are recruiting: track-type tractor operator (Louisiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections 6+ years on the tools preferred.
