We are recruiting: we are hiring an auto body repairer in Mason County, Illinois. The job is at a busy body shop. On the job you will handle: • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
