The role involves mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder. You should have: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
