Join our team: roofing foreman (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a roofing foreman in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. You will work at a roofing and cladding contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing Ideal candidate: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
