Urgent requirement: plant operator (Colorado)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Lincoln County, Colorado. You will be based at a stone quarry. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
